Darren Stehle ~ Queer Thought Leadership

When you know yourself you can harness your uniqueness to create the change you want to see in the world.

Are You a Deep Thinker?

If you’re anything like me, you lead a deeply examined life. You might be a writer, an academic, an inspired creative, or someone who is paid for their intellect. You are someone who wants to make the world a better place and you know you have the ideas and the smarts to have an impact.

People compliment you on your intellectual ability and insight.

You’re most likely an introvert and as a life-long learner, you’re a keen observer of the world, people’s behaviours and actions, and highly intuitive.

You read between the lines, you’re a truth-seeker, and you tell it like it is – no sugar-coating (which sometimes gets you into trouble). Small-talk is anathema to you. You would much rather be engaged in a deep, thought-provoking conversation with one person at a party, then meeting 10 random strangers.

Attention to detail is your forté. You’re highly analytical and love creating systems and structures to come up with elegant solutions that solve problems.

When things don’t go your way you feel like something is wrong with you.

You might feel like a failure and you shut down. At worst, you berate yourself and feel stupid. You turn into a perfectionist attempting to control every detail including external expectations. You begin to doubt your abilities and judgement. You may become defensive when you don’t feel respected for what you believe to be true, or validated for what you know and for your insights. Try as you might, you cannot hide how you are feeling and you wear your emotions on your sleeve.

I’m Darren Stehle – I help Queer People use their difference to make a difference.

When you know yourself you can harness your uniqueness to create the change you want to see in the world.

I feel that I am called to lead others in creating a more balanced, evolved, and humane world – one that consciously works to embrace sexual and gender diversity as a gift to be celebrated and nourished in society.

As LGBTQ people our life experiences offer unique insights that we can use to challenge the status quo and foster creativity to lead others and improve the state of humanity.
